I had my very first guitar lesson last night. I'm totally hooked. I really enjoyed trying to play and when I finally managed to get the 5-note scale down, it felt like I'd just composed the greatest song ever. It sounded absurdly horrible, but I will improve with time and practice. I feel sorry for my neighbors already. I'm on the prowl for an acoustic guitar, preferably gently used. I've perused craigslist, but haven't found one that I like just yet. Perhaps I'll go to some thrift stores this weekend and see what I can find.
Wayne is a good teacher. Encouraging and patient, which is exactly what I'll need during this process.
